Exit the application

While running the SimAI Pro application, you can exit an Ansys product, an application project, or the application itself.

Exit an Ansys product

When an Ansys product is opened during the application workflow, consider the following before closing it:

When the product’s operation is complete:

If you have opened the product manually, you must exit the product to continue to the application.

When the product’s operation is not complete:

Regardless of how the product instance was opened, you must leave it open if you want it to continue processing.

Exit a project

To exit a project, click the Back to projects link () on the right side of the page header. This returns you to the Projects dashboard.

When you close the project, any operation that is underway within the project continues. You may return to the project later to review the completed results.

Exit the application

To exit the application, click the X icon at the top of the application interface or Projects dashboard window.

Warning

When you close the application, any operation that is underway within any project shuts down without saving the results already generated. In this case, you have to restart the operation from the beginning.
